Special Toppers
Wand toppers are very important to Magi because they add special powers and abilities to your wand, they can also let you skip or get more lives in some adventures and quests. As a bonus they look really cool on your wand and makes it look more unique and stylized.
Just to note some of these wands are exclusive to GWL locations and some only at pure MQ locations but are subject to change. Some hold more or less power at GWL locations than the pure ones as well, so choose wisely.
This post will go over every current wand topper and what abilities it gives the player.
Master Healing:
These majestic looking toppers help you instantly heal the Pixies green crystal and will save you once in the battle with Charlock or the Goblin, to recharge these a Magi must complete the healing rune once again.
Unicorns power of music and natures favor toppers:
To quote the 'book of wisdom' from gwl with the power of the unicorn, an abundance of gold and cheer will be spread to all those in the kingdom. bleh, this disappoints me as they had a bit more power at other locations that have Glittertale and Esmeralda. As far as I am aware the pixie one is not available at the lodges locations.
Power of Laughter topper:
another pretty much useless one. But hey! it looks cool, I wouldn't mind adding one of these to my collection.
Dark skull toppers:
I cannot express how powerful and helpful these toppers are to players, I personally don't own one but I really should, as these help you way more than you could probably imagine. Why are these so powerful? Well they can beat Charlock, Winterra AND the dark one. To recharge the Dark Skull power Recover that which has been stolen from the Majestic Princess. Your best bet with these are to purchase both a dark skull and fireburst because they recharge each other!
Summon Xavier topper AKA Blue claw:
As cool as this guy looks... he does next to nothing. Its really strange how a villain is made on a topper for a magi but whatever. You can summon Xavier but thats it, also use him to scratch your back it feels amazing.
FireBurst and IceBurst Toppers:
ok gonna be honest here, these are the normie toppers, i'm sure at least 70% of those kids you see playing own one of these because it 'looks cool'. As I said before its best to purchase one of these with a dark skull topper to basically recharge eachother. With this one by itself you can Winterra the dark one and the goblin king.
These ones do the same thing but defeat Charlock instead of Winterra.
Master Magi Topper:
This Majestic beauty is the Master Magi Topper which can help a magi on their journey. It summons the 'owl' who can help a magi on their quests, at GWL the topper doesn't have to be charged and the owl is always able to help, but at pure locations you have to re-complete the master magi quest.
Rune Collector Topper
This is basically a wand extension piece, you can put that on along with any topper you want, it adds a couple of inches to your wand and looks pretty cool.
thats about all the toppers I am aware of! If there's anything I got wrong or missed tell me below.

Getting Started Part One: Wands
Probably the first thing you think of when you think about MagiQuest is the wands. These wands are what unlock your 'powers' in the kingdom of MQ. Each one is battery powered equipped with a sensor that emits a unique pattern of blinking light making each wand unique to the player. All locations have a 'wand shop' where you can purchase one of your own, wands by themselves don't unlock any special powers but the toppers do, but choosing a wand to go with your clan, and special topper if you have one makes sense.
Your standard wand costs around 15 dollars, while the special colored and dragon wands go from 20-25. DON'T buy your wand second hand online, just don't only buy yours online if you are using it for customizing or just as decoration or even just adding one to your collection.
STANDARD WANDS:
Black and Gold Wand:
Probably the most common wand (that I own three of) goes well with many toppers and is fairly clan neutral. Without the purchase of a specialty topper this one comes with a golden pearly looking topper.
Dark Brown Wand:
Another common wand this wand leans towards the woodsy clan in terms of design. Without a specialty topper it comes with the same golden pearly type topper as the Black and Gold wand.
Twilight Wand:
This is where the prices for wands start to go up. This one is a silvery slightly metallic wand still sporting the golden topper that goes well with the Majestics or Warriors clan.
Pink Sparkle wand:
The Pink Sparkle wand bares resemblance to the Trixter clan. It sports the silver topper. My niece owns this wand along with a Trixter clan topper and I do have to say, it looks very good in person.
Flame Wand:
Definitely leaning towards the warriors as well as Shadows clan. This wand comes with a silver topper to fit it.
DRAGON WANDS:
These wands have the most elaborate designs and are called Dragon Wands due to each resembling one of the dragon enemies in the game. Do note although these are more expensive they do not give any extra powers and only are meant to look good.
Red Dragon Wand:
This wand bares resemblance to Charlock the red dragon in magiquest. The topper is made to look like a cut and polished purple gemstone.
Ice Dragon Wand:
This wand is similar to the Red Dragon wand but is blue and represents Winterra the ice dragon.
Next time I will talk about specialty wand toppers, so stay tuned for that!
Getting Started
Hello there! My Magi name is Lapis Lazuli though I go mostly by Cat. This blog is soon to be a complete database for Magi to use and to help them in their quests. I have been playing MagiQuest since 2012 and I am a master magi 5 who identifies with the Woodsy clan. The game means allot to me and was a big part of my childhood, I hope I can bring back memories for both old and new magi as well as get others into the game.
